How long does a hypnotherapy session take?
Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes. You leave the session with a 15 minute personalised hypnosis audio that you commit to listening to every day for at least 21 days, and then regularly after that. This is how long it takes to create a change of habit.

How will i feel whilst under hypnotherapy?
Everyone experiences hypnotherapy differently. Whether that be a floating sensation or sleepiness, you will feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. Hypnosis is a sleep of the nervous system and is a state that naturally occurs throughout our day to day; when daydreaming, watching tv, driving or reading.

Can i get 'stuck' in hypnosis?
Definitely not! You have complete control the entire time. In fact, you are in a heightened state of awareness; you can talk, move your body and are fully aware of your surroundings. You will enter an alpha brain wave state, allowing you to access your subconscious. Hypnotherapy is not to be mistaken for stage hypnosis.

How does it work?
Hypnosis isn’t a magic spell, it’s cognitive science! It works by creating a burst of alpha brainwaves, the same as when you would enter into REM sleep. This is what allows you to access your subconscious mind. It’s easy and anyone can do it.

When will I start to see changes?
There are three types of change from hypnotherapy, each person is different:
Immediate - you will feel a huge shift right away in your thoughts and behaviours.
Cumulative - you see constant shifts every day or over a longer period of time.
Retroactive - you don’t see the changes right away and then one day you suddenly look at your life and become aware of everything that is different.

How many sessions do i need?
Hypnotherapy is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough, often within just one session, achieving permanent, long lasting results. Deeper issues or client preference, may require up to 3 sessions.
